- cloth diapering
- line drying diapers (don't have enough line to dry all the clothes yet!)
- homemade cleaners (vinegar does wonders)
- cloth towels to clean
- recycling more
- buying local & organic food
- reusing/re-purposing things we already have
- meal planning (no/little wasted food)
- less bottled water/using reusable BPA-free plastic bottles
And here's what I plan on doing soon:
- cloth napkins
- glass straws
- starting a garden
- composting (have to talk Joseph into this)
- reuseable bags
-
I'll try to blog a bit about each individual thing I'm currently doing and will let you know when I successfully incorporate the other things I plan on doing soon!

Marie sent me the link to your blog and I read your cloth diapering post and it inspired me to try it! So far it's going good, I've got a shopping list of diapers I want to buy when I get paid, right now I'm using prefolds and Thirsties covers. I'm also going green just a bit, I need to get a clothes line up, and I've switched to cloth napkins, and started a compost.
Have you ever been to www.thesimpledollar.com? They have instructions to make your own cheap laundry detergent and cleaning supplies, among other ways to save money and stuff. The laundry detergent comes out to 3 cents per load, which would be great with all the cloth diapers!
Thanks for the website! I also like http://www.eartheasy.com/live_nontoxic_solutions.htm for EF cleaning solutions!
