Creating Fun Summer Activities with Chalk City

When it's nice out we practically live in our front yard. So we're constantly looking for activities that keep our kids engaged and active. We recently received a few fun items from Chalk City that have kept them on the go and playing for the past few days! And these items are perfect for summer.

When our activity kit arrived it came with a Roadmaker, 3 Road Sign Stencils, 3 Obstacle Course Stencils, 20 pieces of Chalk, and 1 Activity Booklet. The activity booklet was ful of great ideas and information about how to make the most of our new kit but to be honest my kids ignored everything in there and just went for it!

My husband started to make a road for the kids to follow and then asked them to create the obstacle course by adding the obstacles to the road.

Once they were done they started their course and had a great time doing their jumping jacks, spinning around, and having fun! They then decided to add a few road signs to their road and take their PlasmaCar and PlasmaBike out for a spin.

I absolutely loved how easy it was to set up AND clean up the Chalk City kit. The Roadmaker conveniently broke down into a small size and everything fit nicely into cute net bags that contained everything until the next use.

We will be getting a lot of fun out of these Chalk City kits and I'm sure we'll be using them all year long. Want to see more of our adventure? Check out our Facebook album!
