I am looking forward to my last year paying for preschool and my daughter will be going to Kindergarten NEXT fall!

My daughter is not yet ready for school but we go to a friends house often to play with her young daughter (also not in school yet) and I love being there when her older kids come home excited about what they did in school and tell me all about it. I love those days!!!

My son isn't old enough for school but I'm just looking forward to fall clothes and cooler weather.
We buy organic foods. We recycle. We do not use wireless devices or cordless phones (due to RF radiation emissions). We garden. We use gentle products for cleaning. (Like vinegar or Dr. Bronner's Magic Soap.)

It all started with using green bags in Hawaii for our groceries. Now we are very aware of what we purchase, reuse, and throw away. We also are getting really good at not using any lights in the house, unless it is absolutely necessary : ) Progress, especially considering how much we used to waste!!

We have an awesome single stream recycling program. We compost and garden. My boys are cloth diapered (exclusively for 4+ yrs!). I recently started using mama feminine products. My boys get hand-me-downs and I shop garage sales and thrift stores before buying new. We just got a car that gets MUCH better gas mileage than our old SUV and our truck. I have started making most of our cleaning products.

My family and I have been making to switch to being green, so far we compost, we use reusable bags, reusable grocery bags, we recycle, we have stopped using paper towels, I make my own house cleaners, we have switched to the no 'poo hair washing method, castile soap, i make my own laundry and dishwasher detergent. We also plan our outings to save on gas etc...
