You ever have an outfit that just makes you feel good inside and out? Something you put on and suddenly you have a little pep in your step and you're ready to take on the world (or take on the night)?
The first time I browsed the dresses Sonsi has to offer I knew I'd find that outfit. Not only do they actually carry sizes I fit into, they have a huge selection too! I was on the hunt for a great dress to wear to the vow renewal ceremony I was planning. My husband and I will be celebrating our 5 year wedding anniversary and I wanted this year to be special. No, we aren't planning an elaborate wedding-like ceremony with all of our friends and our family present. We simply want to renew our vows in front of God in our church. Simple yet powerful.
Being that it is our 5 year anniversary, and how much our lives have changed since our wedding day, I wanted to look amazing. I wanted to make sure my husband knew that he was still just as lucky as he was then. Maybe even more so now after the birth of our two children.
So when I saw this dress I knew it was the one! It's just enough conservative and sexy. It came in my size. And my best friend liked it too. Sold! When it came in and I saw it on the hangar I wasn't sure I loved it. It wasn't until I actually saw it on that I realized just how happy it made me! It definitely was the one.
Not only do I plan on wearing it to renew my vows, I also plan on bringing it with me to BlogHer'12 for the parties my friends and I plan on attending. This dress is so versatile and will pack very well. Due to the lace I wont have to worry too much about wrinkling. I hate ironing and steaming so this was a plus for me.
