Twitter Handle Necklaces {Perfect for BlogHer'12}

The one thing I noticed last year at BlogHer'11 that I definitely wanted for BlogHer'12 was a twitter handle necklace. I mean... they were so cool!

Being able to hang our twitter identity around your neck and actually have people recognize you for it sounded like an awesome idea and something that I wanted in on too. So when I approached my good friend Valerie, of You Make It Personal on Etsy, and asked if she could make it happen, I was delighted to find out she could!

Valerie enjoys making beautiful hand stamped artwork including jewelry and much more! everything is personalized and just about any item in her store can be customized to your liking. Looking for a great gift for Mom this Holiday season? Or are you looking for a stylish Mother's necklace for yourself I definitely suggest checking out her selection.

All of the twitter necklaces I found while searching weren't what I wanted. They were either in handwritten form made out of metal or the stamping just didn't look right. So when I told Valerie what I wanted she surprised me by making EXACTLY what I envisioned in my mind.

Love it as much as I do? Purchase one here!

Since I already had a great chain and pearl that came with my mother's necklace I didn't need anything other than the charm. And the charm fit right in wiht the existing necklace. I can even wear my E and M charms with the twitter handle if I wanted to. But I like how it looks with just the pearl. So stylish!

The spacing on the stamping is perfect and the charm itself is very unique. It is similar to a flag waving, not just flat all the way across. And it's not flimsy either. The metal is sturdy and thick. The round clasp that attaches the charm to the necklace is also strong and doesn't seem to have any thoughts of falling off any time soon.

I absolutely love my beautiful necklace from You Make It Personal and cannot wait to wear it at BlogHer'12! If you're going keep an eye out for me and my gorgeous necklace.

It's clever that it's slightly bent instead of being an ordinary flat piece.

What a fun idea!! My Twitter handle is just 6 characters, so it would be a small, but cute, necklace. :)
