Fighting Spring Allergens with All Detergent

Spring allergy season is in full bloom, with allergists expecting an earlier, longer and more severe season than usual. While you're likely aware that you and your family breathe in allergens while outside, what you may not know is that those allergens are getting trapped on your clothing. According to a recent study, on a peak pollen day up to 7 million pollen grains can get trapped on a large t-shirt. Now that's a lot of pollen!

all free clear, the #1 brand recommended by dermatologists and allergists for sensitive skin, removes 99 percent of the #1 spring allergen, grass & tree pollen. And with a husband who's allergic to grass, and me being allergic to most tree pollens, we need this product!

We were sent this gorgeous picnic basket below and were asked to go outside, have a family picnic, and when we were done, collect all of our clothing in the provided laundry bag and launder it with all free clear. Now when I first heard this I kinda giggled. How can laundering our clothes right after a picnic make any difference?

We've continued using the detergent and so far so good! It's not that the detergent prevents allergies; it removes trapped allergens from our clothes while in the wash. Plus we were able to enjoy the beautiful weather we've been having with the whole family. And of course, I didn't get any shots of the family actually enjoying this event. I might have forgotten my camera on the counter while running out the door...

What I love about all free clear detergents:
  • Free of potential irritants like dyes and perfumes, and hypoallergenic
  • Provides the same cleaning efficacy and stain removal benefits that consumers expect from all
  • Safe to use in all washing machines: high efficiency and non-high efficiency washers; front loaders and top loaders
  • Available in two variants - free clear and free clear OXI-Active
For more information, please visit www.all-laundry.com and the all free clear Allergen Resource Center at www.facebook.com/allfreeclear

Yes we have seasonal allergies. My son takes Claritin. I would love to try this. Much better than taking a pill!

I don't suffer from allergies, thankfully. But my husband does. We keep our carpets cleaned, and he takes his allergy medicine daily.

Thankfully, I don't really suffer from allergies. I've heard that taking local, raw honey medicinally helps with seasonal allergies.

My allergies seem to be getting worse as I get older - since I'm not used to them yet, I don't really know what to do to make them better!

I do have allergies to certain things. I mostly just try to avoid the allergens as I dislike taking medications, and the ones I've tried end up being as bad as the symptoms of the allergies.

I don't, but my family does! They're especially sensitive to spring pollens.

I suffer from seasonal allergies. I try to limit my time outdoors.

jbafaith said... Reply To This Comment

I have MANY allergies! :( I have to be careful where I go to visit, when I am outside, what kind of soaps, lotions, I use. I use All free & clear for my laundry, no softeners, avoid people with perfume (not easy) and seldom visit my son because of their cat. I have to severely limit my time in the house and can only sleep in one room that has separate ventilation. Not fun at all. I am also allergic to some medications, latex, and those plug-in so called air fresheners!

I stay indoors for to stay away from the things that cause my allergies that are airborne. I twice rinse my laundry because, that gets rid of any of the soap residue.

Salleefur/Jesselyn/Jesster said... Reply To This Comment

Well, I do sneeze a lot and sometimes take an anti-histimine (I prefer not to!)

We also purchase environmentally friendly products that are fragrance and as chemically free as possible.

We have two air-purifiers and just live with the worst times of the year for allergy sufferers!
