On July 4th we have a huge BBQ with our family, shoot off fireworks, and of course put out the huge water slide for all the kids to enjoy.
We celebrate by having a nice BBQ with family :)

When my funds are good I go Essence Music Festive, SoFL or SoBe.
I always make sure to tune in to the radio station that plays patriotic music to go with the fireworks shows. Brings back such great memories of my childhood, and sends more memories forward for my kids.

The Fourth is a family day for us. Both of my dad's sisters (different ages), my mother-in-law and my mom all have their birthday on the fourth. So we do lots of celebrating.

This year we did the usual: go to my father-in-law's house for a BBQ. We usually watch the fireworks, but since my husband is still recovering from a broken foot, we went home early and stayed in the rest of the night.

On July 4th, we had a cook out by the river and watched fireworks :)
After a storm and several days' power outage, along with the recent heat wave here in Columbus, we didn't go to the fireworks this year. We were at home, enjoying the a/c and watching TV. We were lucky, as there are some who still have had no power since June 29th!
