The Sweets Fairy Bakeshop {#All4Love Sponsor Spotlight}

I am excited to share with you my first sponsor spotlight for the All For Love event starting this week! I am in love with my prize package and cannot wait to introduce you to this fabulous sweets shop on Etsy. The Sweets Fairy Bakeshop is owned and operated by Jeana and I stumbled upon her shop while doing a search for caramel apples to send to a friend. She was so sweet and easy to communicate with that I had to order from her! Plus the pictures of the apples on her Etsy shop had me drooling.

As an extra little something I asked if she could put some custom pick-me-up notes on each of the apples as a way to cheer my friend up and she handled my request amazingly! I couldn't be more pleased with the customer service I received. That's something you usually can't find these days. So when I signed up for the All For Love event the first item I thought to include was a custom package from The Sweets Fairy Bakeshop. I was so excited when Jeana agreed!

Here's a little info about how The Sweets Fairy Bakeshop was born from Jeana...

The Sweets Fairy Bakeshop has been a life long dream of mine. I developed a passion for baking from my great-grandmother & grandmother. As a child I would watch them bake cookies, cakes and pies from scratch and developed my skills through them.

It started simply from making homemade confections for my family & friends. After seeing the joy my loved ones got from eating my wares I decided that they should be shared with everyone.

Everything I bake is made from scratch and filled with lots of love.

- Jeana

And you can taste that love in every bite of Jeana's amazing creations. Jeana sent me a sample of some of her amazing sweets to try out. All in all I received:
  • 1 caramel chocolate dipped apple covered in oreos pieces
  • 1 chocolate dipped oreo
  • 1 caramel chocolate dipped pretzel
  • 1 chocolate dipped pretzel
  • 1/2 dozen homemade chocolate chip cookies
  • 2 cake pops (vanilla cake w/ strawberry frosting - made with fresh strawberries)
  • 10 assorted valentine fondant toppers
And believe you me when I first opened up the package I definitely felt like a kid in a candy store. Everything was so darn cute! I couldn't wait to try my first bite. But what should I try first??

The chocolate covered caramel apple with oreo crumbs and white chocolate drizzles! I mean, how could I not choose to slice into this right away? Plus my husband and son spotted it right away and were begging me to share. Being the nice mom and wife I am I cut into the apple and gave everyone a slice to try out. YUM!

The amount of caramel and chocolate was the perfect ratio to the delicious green apple inside. Sometimes the caramel can get too thick but the thin layer on this apple was just right. And the oreo cookie crumbs added a different taste that made me crave more.

I let my son taste test the chocolate covered pretzel the next day while I indulged in the chocolate caramel pretzel. Wow! Salty sweetness that took care of my sweet tooth. Plus I didn't feel too guilty about indulging since I only ate one (plus the Zumba that morning helped!). My husband offered to test the chocolate covered oreo (a favorite of his) and he gave it two big thumbs up. I loved the cute chocolate heart on the top of the oreo. It just made it that much more appropriate for Valentine's Day.

The next day we tried out the chocolate chip cookies. They were the perfect size! We each ate two for dessert with a glass of milk. There was the perfect ratio of chips to dough. I loved that they came packaged in a cute bag with hearts. The last item we tried out were the cake pops. Now I've attempted to make cake pops before and know how hard it is to make them look perfect. Jeana has this down to a science. Her cake pops were perfectly formed and decorated. They put mine to shame! And they tasted fabulous as well. The fresh strawberries definitely gave them that extra something.

And I'll be using the adorable Valentines Day fondant toppers she sent along at my playgroup's Valentine's Day party on the 14th. So stay tuned for more pictures of her amazingly cute collection in the future! If you want to see the fondant toppers in her store click here for her Valentine's Day/Seasonal themed designs. She also has girl/boy themed toppers, animal/bugs/floral toppers, and character toppers. I am in love with the Wonder Pets topper she currently has for sale. How awesome are those?

Thanks for your review. I was not a big fan of caramel apples until I won one from a different vendor in a giveaway. I savored it over a few days and it was delish and now I'm eager to try other variations. The one in your review looks yummy. Luckily, hubby is not a big fan of sweets -- more for me :)
