My Caring Cross {Review & Giveaway}

During this holiday season the one thing that I am trying to focus on is the meaning behind Christmas. I normally don't talk about my religion or beliefs much because, just like politics, it can be a taboo subject that throws people off. But I need to remind myself why we celebrate and why our traditions of family and faith are so important during this season.

One of the things reminding me of my faith and beliefs is a cross I carry with me in my bag wherever I go. It's a Caring Cross. It's small enough to fit nicely into my diaper bag or purse and is a great aid to prayer or meditation. I can just pull it out, hold it in my hands and say a little prayer or two. I can also talk to my children about our faith when I pull it out. It allows an easy way to get them involved in daily prayer. I allow them each to hold it and give thanks as we start our day. My son is starting to really enjoy this time we spend each day and even reminds me of it if I forget or get to busy.

Information about My Caring Cross
Caring Crosses are individually carved from a single unique piece of beautifully grained olive wood pruned from the olive trees around Bethlehem the birthplace of Jesus. Christians have been carving crosses like this for hundreds of years, originally for pilgrims and more recently tourists visiting the Holy Land. Each craftsman receives a fair price to support their family and Christian community. My Caring Crosses are designed to fit comfortably into the palm of your hand as an aid to prayer or meditation. Ideal as your spiritual companion for easing children's fears, comforting worries and stresses of adults and focusing the prayer of the sick and elderly.

The cross came in a burgundy velveteen bag along with an authenticity card. Also included, was a cream colored velveteen bag and a personalized card, which can be used when given as wedding favors. My Caring Crosses would made great Christmas gifts or stocking stuffers. They also make for a great fundraiser at your local place of worship, or to distribute to hospice patients at your local hospital and nursing care facility.

The most important part is remembering the reason for the season and then sharing with those who are in need.

Thank you,
