Scentsy began with a simple idea—a safe, wickless alternative to scented candles—and quickly grew into one of the most successful direct selling companies. This wickless concept was born when two stay-at-home moms began selling decorative warmers designed to melt scented wax with the heat of a light bulb instead of a traditional wick and flame.
I knew very little about the company until I "met" Liz Fogg online. She's an independent consultant for Scentsy and knows just about anything you need to know about the company and their products. She sent me a Pumpkin Marshmallow room spray and a Clean Breeze travel tin to try out.
The first thing I noticed when I received the products was how a little went a long way. One to two sprays of the Pumpkin Marshmallow and my whole living and dining area smelled like the holidays. I didn't have to spray it in each room either, the smell kind of drifted around and filled each area perfectly without overdoing it. I'm the first to admit that I hate overly perfume-like rooms so it was nice that the scent was subtle enough to not overwhelm me but still give off a nice scent.
The Clean Breeze travel tin ended up fitting perfectly in our car. Since we're always driving from one activity to the other we spend a lot of time in the car. Now when I sit in the drivers seat I take a deep breath and relax. Even the kids seemed to notice the fresh scent. My son asked to take the "good smelling car" when we were deciding what vehicle to drive to the gym the other day. It was quite cute.
Just like the room spray, a little goes a long way with the travel tin. We just crack the tin open a bit and the clean, fresh scent wafts out slowly with time. And after two weeks of use it's showing no signs of losing it's scent. I've heard from Liz that her's has lasted over a year!
