A Natural, Down-to-Earth Look
When given the chance to chose two products from Mia's selection, I had a hard time limiting myself to two products. But a decision had to be made and I decided on a gorgeous mineral eye shadow duo, luna de miel, and an illuminating magic satin bronzer for my face.

As soon as I received my selection I tried it out. I absolutely loved how easy and smooth the make up was to apply. Since I love a natural, down-to-earth look, I loved the rich hues the luna de miel colors brought out on my eye lids.

Signing Time On Demand {Baby Sign Language}

Our family has always seen a great importance in sign language as a form of communication with our children. It's been one of the best things we've chosen to do with our children and has greatly reduced meltdowns, frustration, and much more. I've blogged about my experience with sign language and Sign4Baby but I don't think I've mentioned Signing Time yet.

Signing Time is the is the support material Sign4Baby uses to help teach the children the signs she focuses on. They offer videos, music, and much more to help teach parents and children alike the wonderful world of ASL in an easy to understand format that your child will love.

Signing Time is now offering Digital Videos to download for On-Demand streaming so that you can help teach your child how to sign from the comforts at home. I absolutely love this idea and think it's a great way for parents to reiterate what they learn in their sign language classes. Not only can you get the instruction and knowledge of an ASL Signing Time Instructor in class but now those signs can easily be practiced when you get home from class.

I found it very hard to decide exactly what digital video we wanted to download. Since I've taken classes with Sign4Baby in the past, I was very familiar with the content and wanted to make sure that the choice I made was in the best interest of my daughter. But I also wanted to find a video that would interest my son as well. He's grown quite fond of trying to teach his sister the signs he's learned.

So after careful consideration (and an urge to purchase all of the videos offered!) we chose the Playtime Signs digital video (Series1: Volume 2) and started to download the welcome video and our selection. The download took no time and we quickly installed Signing Time On Demand to my desktop.

As soon as we started the free Welcome to Singing Time video and she heard that familiar song she immediately started moving and grooving to the music while I signed along to her about signing time with Alex and Leah.  Having the familiarity of that first song was all it took to get her hooked on the video. She even surprised me by signing play as she was dancing. She's never signed play before! Then we were surprised with yet another favorite song, In A House. This free welcome video is anything but a simple introduction. It's chocked full of signs and great songs!

While I won't spoil any of the fun included in Volume 2, we absolutely love the content included in both videos. The digital videos are much different than the structure of our sign language classes but are a great way to help my daughter continue to learn her signs. And the ratio of songs to content was perfect. Whenever my daughter started to become a bit restless with watching and listening to signs being taught, another song started and she was interested again.

The only problem I had with the software was closing the program. It took a bit of time to get it to respond to my request to close the first time. But I haven't had that problem again.

If you're looking for a great way to teach sign language to your child, or if you're looking for a great product to supplement what your baby is already learning in sign language classes I highly recommend checking out the amazing collection of digital videos Signing Time has to offer.
